Hospital Day 9

Alright guys, I don't know what you're doing, but keep it up! Nickolas had a great day today! He has been asking for pizza and I took him some "special" sugar free Reese's candy. He loves it! The doctor says no sugar for now. We told him it was his candy, but he said Alyssa can have some if she wants it. Yesterday he met a little boy named Drew. Drew had a remote control car and he let Nickolas play with it. So Tiffany bought Nickolas his very own. This kid is getting the very best treatment. From the doctors AND from his family. Lucky kid.

Alyssa loves coming to see Nickolas in the hospital. She know which room to come to each time we get here. Smart girl! She must take after her Aunt Tonya. Just sayin'

Hospital Day 8

Nickolas is having an ok day today. The meds make him happy one second and very cranky the next. He always wants Tiffany so you can only imagine how exhausted she is. He is still right on track with treatment and the doctor is still saying he should come home by Monday. He will have a spinal tap on Monday morning. A couple of us chipped in to get him an iPad. He was pretty cranky when Jason got there with it, but as soon as he opened it he perked right up! He LOVED it!

Hospital Day 7

The chemotherapy is going really well. The doctor is even impressed at how well Nickolas is doing. His liver and spleen are back to normal size. If all goes well after his chemotherapy on Monday, then he will come home Monday afternoon. We are ready for him and Tiffany to be home! As I was leaving tonight he said , "I want to go bye bye!" I wish I could scoop him up and bring him with me!
