Boo at the Zoo 2010

We took the kids to Boo at the Zoo last week. They really liked it. Alyssa did not like Bugs Bunny or the big pumpkin head. Nickolas surprisingly did not like spider man. Other than that, they seemed to have a good time.

This is Alyssa's new face. If you say, "Make a funny face!" this is what she will do. So now if you ask her anything she makes this face. I said, "say cheese!" and this is what she did. So you will see this face a few times in these pictures. It's too cute!

Tiffany and Alyssa

Nickolas wasn't too sure about this pumpkin person, but he did end up talking to it. Alyssa wanted no part of it! As soon as Wes put her down she was reaching back for him.

Funny face!

He looks so unhappy here, but I promise he was having fun! Haha

Here they are looking at Parrots.

Here they are watching the belly dancers. Alyssa started dancing to the music. It was pretty cute.

This is another new thing Alyssa has been doing. When she hears a strange noise or sees something exciting she will make this face. She doesn't make a noise with the face she just opens her mouth like this. It is really funny.

Nickolas saw the carousel at the beginning and by the time we left he hadn't forgot about it. So me and Tiffany took them on it. As soon as it started moving, Alyssa tried her best to crawl into Tiffany's arms. Nickolas had a neutral face on the entire time, but when we were done he said he liked it. Tiffany and I got a little woosy from going backwards. Needless to say, we will not be doing that again anytime soon.

Playing outside and Jason's Birthday

Nickolas and Alyssa love playing outside. Alyssa is all over the place and in to everything!! She is not afraid to get dirty and will not stay in one place. She liked playing on the rocks. She will keep you very busy outside! Jason's birthday was October 14th. Nickolas loved helping him open presents. He even read some of his cards (thanks to Blue's Clues: Blue's Birthday). After presents we played outside for a little bit. The kids are getting so big! They play so well together these days.

Alyssa is playing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" with Nana. She is saying "out came the sun" here.

Alyssa opens cabinets and puts stuff in them ALL the time. I guess this time she decided to put her self in and take everything else out!
